This is a picture of my wife Tracy from back in 2005. I was able to convince her to spend one year living out of a backpack while sleeping in hostels, trains and buses. There is no one else I would have rather been with.

You have to look closely to see the difference between #28 and #29. This gate uses the same rectangular pattern, but rotated 90 degress to be horizontal. Hey, why re-invent the wheel.

When I started this project I was inspired by the well designed and detailed gates on many of the houses in Mekelle, but I was also attracted to the simpler make-shift gates.
